How Easy Is It To Change To A New Sim Card?

It should be Ok for anyone but your phone will have to allow it. You just need to obtain your new sim card and try it out.

Check your instruction manual and remove the current sim and place the new one as instructed. Your contacts and calls history should be transferred and you will receive notification on your phone that all has been installed correctly.

Can Anyone Use A New Free Sim?

Some mobile phones are provided as a locked in service. This means that your network, whoever initially provided you with your mobile phone/sim, has locked you into the current sim card.

It’s easy to check what your options are if you are not sure what the status of your phone is.

To try a sim card with a different network simply replace it as mentioned above. It will either work or not. If it does not work it may be locked. Alternatively, check with your original phone/sim card provider to make sure what the situation is.

Can I Use My Free Sim Card Anywhere?

Most of the major sim card providers are part of the International Roaming Network so you should be able to use your free sim pretty much anywhere. If you are going abroad perhaps check in advance with your phone or network provider?

You can check in advance in any case whether you can use your sim/phone at your travel destination and what the best offers are available.

Also, remember to check any international codes that you need and if your free sim is a PAYG option remember to top up your phone in advance to ensure ease of use and make sure your phone is ready to go.
